The following conversion was made by Michael Ogston
who needed to fit a NATO socket for his trailer but wanted to retain the
original socket and not spoil the appearance of his M201 by drilling holes
in it.
Although the mounting plate drops down below the
aerial mounting bracket the socket is pretty much hidden from view from a
standing position, in fact I didn't notice it until Michael pointed it out
to me. Good use of the aerial bracket has also been made to mount the
indicators, a position also used by the French army see
M201 en Afrique - rear indicators. Well done Michael, it's got you into
the new 'genious' section.
