This ex Gendarmerie jeep was rebuilt at La Maltournee 17/06/1964. An unusual feature is that it has the MALT number stamped on the front chassis rail rather than the army number 9052. The original registration and Hotchkiss chassis number are both consistent with the jeep being 9052 as appears on the rebuild plate and the description given by Domaines at auction.
